Hygienists

Kelly, RDH

Kelly graduated from the Tunxis Technical College and had her clinical experience in conjunction with the University of Connecticut. She won first prize in her research project working with caregivers of Alzheimer's Disease patients, comparing the success of Oral B® electric toothbrushes to manual toothbrushes. Kelly joined our practice in 2001, and brings with her a passion for pediatrics and geriatrics. Kelly's expertise and enthusiasm has translated into school visitations and other dental projects.

Robin, RDH

Robin has worn many hats in our practice. Her career with us began in 1977 as a dental assistant for Dr. Cohen. After two years in this capacity, she moved to the front desk as a receptionist for six years. She missed the clinical aspects of dentistry, so returned to school and completed her degree in dental hygiene in 1987. She prides herself in tailoring each patient's treatment to his/her individual needs.

Charlene, RDH

Charlene graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School and is currently working towards her Master’s in Education. Before becoming a dental hygienist, she served in the United States Army Dental Corps for six years. Charlene is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, but has lived in Maryland since 2004. Charlene has been with the practice since August 2010 and enjoys providing quality care in such a friendly environment.

Assistants

Trish, CDA

Trish graduated as a certified dental assistant from the Medix School in 1997, and joined our practice in 2002. She has taken numerous continuing education courses in implant and cosmetic dentistry and has assisted on extensive cases with implants, veneers, crowns and bridges. She enjoys keeping up with the newest technology and materials in order to achieve the best aesthetic outcome for her patients. With her vivacious personality, she makes every dental visit a pleasant experience.

Amanda, CDA

Amanda came to our practice in 2010 with 14 years experience as a certified dental assistant. She is a 1996 honor society graduate of Medix School. Amanda has participated in many continuing education courses throughout her working career. Infection control and medical emergencies in the dental office are included in that list. She provides assistance in all phases of general dentistry with her patient's care and comfort being her top priority.

Janet, CDA
Janet began working in our practice as a dental assistant in 1987 and was with us for 13 years before moving out of state in 2000. She has recently returned to be part of our team in both clinical assisting and front office roles and we are happy to have Janet back. She is looking forward to re-connecting with our patients and making them feel welcome and comfortable.

Administrative

Carol G.
Carol joined the dental field after graduating from Medix School in 1980. She is knowledgeable in many areas of the dental practice, but she thoroughly enjoys working at the front desk because she has the opportunity to welcome patients into a comfortable and friendly environment. Carol has been with the practice since 2001 and prides herself in understanding each patient’s individual needs.

Elsa
Elsa joined our practice in 2004 after many years in a rewarding career in the field of education. She is responsible for our periodic newsletter, and special marketing projects. Elsa also is the coordinator for our hygiene recare program. She and Dr. Lustman have been happily married since 1968, and enjoy spending quality family time with their children and grandchildren.

Terry

Terry, a native Baltimorean, just returned to our office in January, 2010, following a six and a half year hiatus. During this time, she got married and lived in Japan. She now works with us 2 days a week, sharing administrative responsibilities at our front desk. Terry possesses comprehensive knowledge of dental insurance and excellent organizational skills, which, along with her caring nature, enable her to achieve a high level of customer service. Welcome back, Terry!
