Q. What are your hours?
A. We offer convenient hours in order to accommodate most schedules:
 
  • Monday and Thursday: 12 - 6:30 p.m
  • Tuesday: 9 - 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8 - 5 p.m

    Q. What insurance do you accept?
    A. We accept all traditional insurance plans and will gladly file your insurance claims for you. We also accept some PPO plans and most plans will allow you benefits when you see the dentist of your choice.
       
    Q. What type of coverage should I expect from my insurance policy?
    A. We will assist you in every way possible to collect from your insurance company the amount they should pay; however, your plan does not honor everything at 100%. Your insurance contract does state that you have a portion to pay. We can estimate your portion and we ask that it be paid on or prior to the appointment time.
       
    Q. Do you offer payment plans for your services?
    A. Yes, we offer several ways for you to obtain the dental services you need. Call us today to set up a payment plan that works for you.
       
    Q. Are the dentists gentle?
    A. Our doctors are terrific. They have over 30 years of dental experience and are extremely caring and compassionate. We refer our family and friends.
       
    Hygienists
    Q. What age do you start seeing children?
    A. We recommend making the first visit around the age of three, unless there is a particular concern prior to that age. Our dentists will check for any cavities in the primary teeth and for any early developmental problems.
       
    Q. Do you do whitening?
    A. We offer three different, fast, safe and effective options, including the new ZOOM whitening system. Call us for more details so we can determine the method that’s right for you.
       
    Q. Are power toothbrushes really better?
    A. Yes, they are but choosing the proper type of toothbrush and using it as instructed is imperative.
       
    Q. What is periodontal disease?
    A. Periodontal disease is an infection of the gum and bone that hold your teeth in place. The disease can be treated in ways ranging from cleaning to surgery, but most importantly, practicing good oral hygiene and consistent periodic hygiene care can help prevent periodontal disease all together.

    Q. How long will a treatment take?
    A. The doctor will never sacrifice the quality of your treatment, but will not take longer than needed.
       
    Q. Does this hurt? Do I have to be numb?
    A. Generally that is a decision left to the discretion of the doctor and patient. We try to make our patients as comfortable as possible by offering light sedation, nitrous oxide, and local anesthesia. If you have any questions, please call our office for more details.
       
    Q. How long will numbness last?
    A. Depending upon the area of treatment, anesthesia generally lasts anywhere from two to six hours.
       
    Q. Will there be sensitivity afterwards?
    A. On occasion, depending on the procedure. Slight sensitivity can be controlled by minor analgesics, such as Tylenol, Motrin, etc.
